About Quaternary Rectangular System (QRS)

Quaternary Rectangular System defines the level 0 grid by dividing latitude into 3 bands and longitude into 6 bands, resulting in eighteen 60 by 60 degree squares that can be subdivided with no exceptions.

GeoGnomo:

    Get your GeoGnomo Address: To get a GeoGnomo code for a location/area, go to the Encode your location (QRS) tab above. Click any location on the map or enter the latitude and longitude, and click Get GeoGnomo Code button.

    Get the location back from your GeoGnomo code: Go to Decode GeoGnomo/GeoTono (QRS) tab above. Input the GeoGnomo code and click on Get Latitude and Longitude button to decode it.

    Read about GeoTono here.

    Get your GeoTono Address: Go to Encode your location tab. Click any location on the map or enter the latitude and longitude, and click Get GeoGnomo Code button to get GeoTono. GeoTono can be found below the map. To share the audio, please donwload the Midi file available.

    Get the location back from your GeoTono: Under development

GeoTono: To get Geotono for a pair of coordinates,click any location on the map or enter the latitude & longitude and click 'Get GeoGnomo Code' button.
